The story behind MIAMI FUSION AGENCY

How We Got Started

MIAMI FUSION AGENCY is the brainchild of Barbara Edwards, CMP (Certified Meeting Professional), Founder & CEO, a 20-year veteran of the corporate event industry. Originally from Paris, France she got her first break working in events as one of the onsite coordinators for the French Pavilion at “Expo Sevilla ‘92” (Universal Exposition of Seville, Spain.)

 

She moved to the US in 1996 to expand her business and further her career in event planning and project management. Since then she has been actively involved in the trade show industry and created our sister company Edwards Management Group in 2004.

While collaborating with trade show and convention organizers, Barbara saw an opportunity to make her clients’ events more successful by providing well-groomed, informed, and personable talent she mentored.

 

From Greeters and Registration Staff to Promotional Models, Boat Show Hosts, Room Monitors, and Specialty Characters, MIAMI FUSION AGENCY talent really set an event, and brand, apart from others.

Sheena Fernandez is the Operations & Talent Manager Extraordinaire at MIAMI FUSION AGENCY. She ensures the smooth running of daily operations, optimizes workflows, and enhances the talent management processes. Her keen eye for detail and innovative approach make her an invaluable asset to the team.

 

With a Bachelor’s degree in Information and Communications Technology, Sheena brings a versatile skill set to the team. She also supports marketing initiatives, from creating catchy graphic designs to managing social media platforms and developing engaging content.

 

Known for her warm smile and easy-going nature, Sheena creates a positive and welcoming environment for everyone she interacts with.

 

Outside of work, she enjoys exploring new digital trends and tasting new cuisines during her travels.
