The story behind MIAMI FUSION AGENCY

How We Got Started

MIAMI FUSION AGENCY was founded by Barbara Edwards, CMP (Certified Meeting Professional), an industry veteran with over 30 years of experience in the corporate events industry.

 

Originally from Paris, Barbara began her career as an on-site coordinator for the French Pavilion at Expo Sevilla ’92, the Universal Exposition in Seville, Spain. In 1996, she moved to the U.S. to further her career in event planning and project management, and in 2004, she launched our sister company, Edwards Management Group, Inc.

 

Her deep involvement in the trade show world revealed a gap in the market: the need for polished, personable talent who could represent brands with authenticity and professionalism. That insight led to the creation of MIAMI FUSION AGENCY.

Sheena Fernandez is the Operations & Talent Manager Extraordinaire at MIAMI FUSION AGENCY. She ensures the smooth running of daily operations, optimizes workflows, and enhances the talent management processes. Her keen eye for detail and innovative approach make her an invaluable asset to the team.

 

With a Bachelor’s degree in Information and Communications Technology, Sheena brings a versatile skill set to the team. She also supports marketing initiatives, from creating catchy graphic designs to managing social media platforms and developing engaging content.

 

Known for her warm smile and easy-going nature, Sheena creates a positive and welcoming environment for everyone she interacts with.

 

Outside of work, she enjoys exploring new digital trends and tasting new cuisines during her travels.
